Upon my return to the north-east I looked to the  adage of "paint what interests you". For this I looked to classic engineering and architecture. I was lucky enough to hear of a classic bike show at Belsay Hall. I duly had a lovely day out taking some photos, some of these I turned into paintings on canvas, which I later showed at another show at Wallington Hall. Recently I have been to Blagdon Hall which again produced some lovely images. I could not resist the Ford Prefect as I had never seen one, only it`s literary counterpart which featured in my upbringing.
